The Glamorgan Record Office holds a series of 40 000 building regulation plans. The collection includes schools, cinemas, sports stadia, hotels, public houses, coffee bars, air raid shelters, shops, workhouses, hospitals, offices, factories, churches, mosques, synagogues and houses. The plans can be used for the study of many different subjects, just a few of which are illustrated here.
