Services to Local Authorities

Training Courses?

We are happy to offer the empoyees of our local authorities introductory sessions on the types of records we hold, and how they can help you in your day to day work.

For example, did you know that we hold the records of your predecessor authorities? These include:

...minutes of the councils and their committees

...records of the social services departments and the institutions they administered

...building regulation plans submitted for local authority approval

...definitive rights of way maps

Library and Register Office staff?

You've probably referred countless people to us here at the Archives. But do you actually know what we do, and which records we hold? Arrange to come along and find out.
